An extraordinary and highly sought-after die-cast replica in 1:18 scale produced by the famous German company CMC GmbH Germany (item M-058). The model faithfully reproduces the Mercedes-Benz 300 SL n.3 driven by the crew Karl Kling and Hans Klenk, winner of the legendary Carrera Panamericana in 1952 in Mexico. A masterpiece of collectible engineering handmade and composed of hundreds of meticulous details: gullwing doors that open, front hood opening secured with a real leather closure strap, engine bay with the inline 6-cylinder inclined engine detailed with all wiring and fuel hoses, rear hatch opening containing the two removable spare wheels with Continental tires, and a refined cockpit with seats upholstered in checkered tartan fabric, carpet and a racing steering wheel with spokes and wooden finish.
