This substantial wall-mounted hall rack combines richly toned wood, tubular metal rails, brass fittings and an integrated mirror in a strongly architectural composition. Designed in an Art Deco vocabulary, the structure is distinguished by its stepped wooden side columns, arranged at two different heights and framed with vertical metal elements. These pronounced side structures give the piece considerably more sculptural presence than a conventional coat rack. Multiple brass coat hooks, hanging hooks on the lower rail, upper rails and the central mirror provide practical hallway storage within a compact wall-mounted format. The wood, metal rails, brass fittings and mirror present an established period surface with natural traces of use that complement the original character of the piece.
