A splendid and highly functional original Art Deco wall coat rack from the 1930s–1940s. This stylish model is made of solid brass and features a sleek, geometric frame that is characteristic of the early Mid-Century and Art Deco period. The coat rack is equipped with 6 sturdy hooks that smoothly fold in and out. When the hooks are folded in, the rack takes up hardly any space (only about 2 cm depth), making it an ideal object for a narrower hallway or corridor. When unfolded, it provides solid and reliable support for coats, bags, or hats. The coat rack is in a beautiful vintage condition with a lovely authentic patina that testifies to its history. The brass can optionally be polished to a shine, but the current lived-in look gives the piece extra character.
