Fil Rouge #12 (2026) Acrylic, colored pencils and embroidery on canvas 50 × 50 cm Fil Rouge #12 belongs to a series dedicated to the symbol of the red thread of fate—the ancient legend that two people destined to meet are connected by an invisible thread, capable of withstanding time, distance, and adversity. In this work, two hands clasp each other in a gesture that is both simple and deeply meaningful. The red thread, embroidered directly onto the canvas, winds across the fingers without restraining them; instead, it reveals the invisible bond that unites them. The embroidery is not merely decorative but an essential element of the narrative, transforming an intangible symbol into a tangible presence. The minimalist composition draws the viewer's attention to the dialogue between the two hands and the profound meaning of human connection. The softness of the skin tones contrasts with the vibrant intensity of the red thread, creating a delicate balance between fragility and permanence.
