Elegant pendant in real gold made from an authentic British coin of 1 Pound (Sovereign) minted in 1874, during Queen Victoria's reign. The coin features on the obverse the profile of Queen Victoria with the inscription VICTORIA D G BRITT REG, while on the reverse it depicts Saint George slaying the dragon, the famous engraving by Benedetto Pistrucci, with the date 1874 visible at the bottom. The coin is original and historic, subsequently mounted as a pendant with a simple and functional setting, probably made for personal use. The item presents itself as an antique jewel, ideal for both coin-enthusiasts who collect mounted coins and for those who desire a gold jewel with strong historical value.
