Colchian pheasant Taxidermy wall mount - Phasianus...

Look closely at all the photos. The Ringed Pheasant (Phasianus colchicus), also known as the ringed pheasant or hunting pheasant, is a species of galliform birds in the Phasianidae family native to Western Asia and introduced to Europe in the Middle Ages. It is the most common pheasant in Europe, and if this term is used alone, that is likely the species being referred to. It is hunted as game and raised for its meat. The beauty of this taxidermy is insolent, in perfect condition. The colors specific to this bird, the expression, are superb. The bird is mounted on a real grapevine stem itself mounted on a hanging support. It is a great pleasure for us to offer you this superb piece. To all of you, here, and only here, on Catawiki. Not to be missed!!! Good luck!!!
