An assortment of maritime ephemera from the early to mid-20th century documenting American passenger and naval vessels. The collection includes a United States Lines S.S. America souvenir cruise program for a vacation cruise from New York to St. Thomas, San Juan, Port au Prince, and Havana, featuring Art Deco graphics and an attached red, white, and blue cord tassel. A U.S.S. Von Steuben souvenir photo folder contains four black-and-white prints of the WWI-era ship armaments and interior, including captions for the after gun, forward gun, sick bay, and crow's nest. Two real photo postcards depict the S.S. Manhattan aground off Palm Beach, Florida, in January 1941; both cards are postmarked from 1941 with one-cent U.S. stamps and handwritten correspondence. Additional pieces include a United States Lines card with a circular ship illustration and a booklet featuring the Statue of Liberty. Dimensions: See Desc.
