Collection of five pieces of antique and vintage Florida ephemera focused on the tourism and railroad development of the East Coast. The group includes an 1893 softcover booklet titled Florida: Beauties of the East Coast with text by Mrs. H. K. Ingram, published in St. Augustine, containing halftone photographic plates of Jupiter Narrows and the Royal Poinciana boat landing. A large illustrated booklet titled The East Coast of Florida features an ornate decorative cover with red and gold scrollwork framing the St. Augustine City Gates. A circa 1927 railroad development article titled Florida Roads Have Experienced a Phenomenal Development provides detailed data on the 1925-1926 land boom and the operations of the Atlantic Coast Line, Florida East Coast, and Seaboard Air Line railroads. A 1920s tri-fold promotional brochure for St. Augustine depicts period figures in tennis and swimwear with the Ponce de Leon Hotel. The lot also contains a Victorian-era cabinet photograph mounted on black cardstock showing six individuals in period dress within a palm grove draped in Spanish moss. Dimensions: See Desc.
