Assortment of mid-20th century French maritime ephemera, primarily relating to ocean liner travel between France and South America. The collection includes a promotional brochure for the SS L'Atlantique under the Compagnie de Navigation Sud-Atlantique, featuring an Art Deco-style cover illustration of the ship's bow against a French tricolor flag. Also included is a promotional folder for Navifrance (Compania Franco-Sudamericana de Comercio Maritimo S.A.), coordinating agency for French lines including Chargeurs Reunis and Compagnie de Navigation Sud-Atlantique, with a cover map of France and agency addresses in Buenos Aires and Montevideo. A wine list (Carte des Vins) for the SS Pasteur, operated by Compagnie de Navigation Sud-Atlantique, features a maroon textured cover with a gold-embossed basket of grapes and internal illustrated advertisements for champagne houses including Moet & Chandon, Charles Heidsieck, Lucien Clicquot, and Heidsieck & Co Monopole. The lot is completed by a promotional card for the SS Louis Lumiere, jointly issued by Compagnie Maritime des Chargeurs Reunis and Compagnie de Navigation Sud-Atlantique, featuring a reverse side with advertisements for Campari and Photo-Hall cameras, bearing a printer's mark reading Depot legal 2e trimestre 1953.
