A collection of Holland America Line maritime ephemera spanning the mid-20th century through the early 2000s. The group features promotional brochures, postcards, and a historical transit pass. A printed paper pass is dated 1939 for Eastern Steamship Lines Inc., issued to Mr. W. J. Bell, Auditor for the Belfast & Moosehead Lake R.R. Co., identified as B 720. Promotional brochures include titles such as Caribbean Cruises, South America Explore the Southern Frontier, and 1994 Grand World Voyage SS Rotterdam. Postcards represent various vessels including the SS Rotterdam, SS Nieuw Amsterdam, MS Statendam, MS Ryndam, MS Zaandam, and MS Westerdam, with one example for the S. S. Yarmouth. Several postcards are postally used with stamps and cancellations from the Bahamas and the United States, featuring handwritten correspondence dated 1961, 1992, 1998, and 2001. Correspondence is addressed to Jesus Mendez in Coral Gables, Florida; Mr. Paul Fleming in Ormond Beach, Florida; and Mr/Mrs A. N. Funk in Baltimore, Maryland.
