Collection of maritime postcards and ephemera primarily focused on the Holland-America Line, dating from the 1930s to the early 2000s. Postcards in paper with photographic, lithographic, and color souvenir finishes, featuring ship views, interiors, and deck scenes of vessels including the SS Rotterdam, MS Zaandam, MS Ryndam, and MV Prinses Margriet. Notable items include a commemorative card for the Nuclear Ship Savannah marked First Voyage JUNE 1964 with a June 8, 1964 New York postmark and a 4-cent Atomic Energy Act stamp, and a magenta 1939 New York World's Fair card for the Holland-America Line. The group includes postally used examples with stamps and cancellations from the Netherlands, Martinique, and Half Moon Cay, Bahamas. One card is printed U.S.S. STEAMSHIP AMERICAN LEGION. Several cards are protected in clear archival sleeves. Approximately 40-50 pieces total. Dimensions: See Desc.
