Collection of North American Indigenous Arrowheads and Darts Points

Collection of eight lithic projectile points including arrowheads and dart points, presented in a Riker specimen mount. The grouping features a variety of materials including translucent black obsidian, mahogany obsidian with characteristic reddish-brown inclusions, and various silicates such as chert and flint in shades of tan, cream, and grey. The points demonstrate bifacial pressure and percussion flaking techniques across several typologies, including side-notched, corner-notched, and lanceolate forms. These styles represent various cultural periods, with smaller notched examples typical of the Late Prehistoric period and larger forms consistent with Archaic period dart points.
