Mid-20th-century West German and Spanish ocean liner ephemera collection. Approximately 14 pieces including promotional brochures, deck and cabin plans, and itineraries, primarily for North German Lloyd (Norddeutscher Lloyd) and Hamburg-American Line (HAPAG). Vessels represented include the TS Bremen, MS Europa, TS Hanseatic, MS Berlin, Cabo San Roque, SS Albert Ballin, and SS Deutschland. The lot features a 1965 Caribbean cruise itinerary and rates and itinerary booklets for 1967 and 1968. Items bear printed marks for NORDDEUTSCHER LLOYD BREMEN, NORTH GERMAN LLOYD, HAMBURG-AMERIKA LINIE with a H A P A G monogram, and YBARRA SEVILLA. One 1965 brochure is stamped in purple ink by AMERICAN EXPRESS CO. DISTRICT TRAVEL OFFICE 65 BROADWAY NEW YORK, N. Y. 10006. Includes a pencil notation of 25 cents on the corner of a TS Bremen deck plan. A medical advisory booklet titled The Prevention of Sea And Air Sickness is present. Dimensions: See Desc.
