Authentic 19th-century Comtoise clock mechanism (Napoleon III era), signed “DECOSSE in Guingamp” on the enamel dial, complete with its key, its large lyre-shaped brass pendulum, and its brass fittings. Top pediment: Repoussé brass with a pastoral scene depicting the harvest (peasants loading a hay cart drawn by horses, sheaves of wheat) Dial: White enamel with black Roman numerals, signed “DECOSSE / in Guingamp” Pendulum: Large lyre-shaped brass pendulum repoussé with a central floral motif. Dimensions of the case/fronton: 40 x 26 x 16 cm Pendulum length: About 100 cm Mechanism: Traditional Comtoise movement with two-gear train and bronze bell strike Included accessories: Mechanism, fronton, large lyre pendulum, bell with hammer and hand-crank winding key (sold without weights or wooden cable sheath) Condition: Brass and fronton in good aesthetic condition Original enamel dial with cracks/usage marks around the winding holes. Mechanism clean and complete, sold as not tested in its current state. The small hand detaches... mounting to be reviewed (welding?) Very careful shipping, reinforced and secured packaging with tracking.
