This clock stands out for its elegant oak case, its remarkable height of 238 cm, its sculpted details and its lovely original patina. The upper part features a curved fronton housing a white dial with Roman numerals, surrounded by a rich gilt-metal floral and botanical decorative motif. The façade is enhanced by a long carved door providing access to the mechanism and the weights, while the lower part presents a finely worked geometric rosette. The piece has a lot of character and is a very fine example of traditional clockmaking, ideal for an old interior, a character-filled house or vintage decor.
