ENDURA" on the body) Length: 19.5 cm Diameter: 1.1 cm Nib: M Period: 1920s–30s (Endura, made in Toledo, Ohio, between 1924 and the thirties) Materials: Body of mottled black, amber and gold celluloid; rear desk cone in black material; two separation rings and nib collar ring in gold metal; gold nib engraved "Conklin — TOLEDO U.S.A." Condition: Good condition for its age. The celluloid retains shine and the marbling looks sharp, with the usual signs of wear for a vintage piece: superficial micro-scratches distributed along the body and the cone, and slight darkening in some areas of the material. The gold rings show wear of the plating at the edges. The body engraving reads well though softened by use. The nib is intact, with the tines aligned and without bends, but shows loss of plating and small oxidation spots on the nib’s face. Collector piece not inspected nor guaranteed as airtight; a service before writing with it is recommended. Accessories: Only the loose piece; no box, case or papers in the photos.
