Wall console in carved wood – Louis XV style Elegant wall console made of wood, characterized by a shaped silhouette and a rich carved decoration in Rococo / Louis XV taste. The piece features a wide upper plan with a wavy shape, with a shaped edge and worked detailing. The front fascia is embellished with elaborate volutes, vegetal motifs and carved decorations, while the lower part is characterized by two strongly curved supports that give the console the typical movement of eighteenth-century forms. Particularly interesting are the carved details on the sides and on the supports, with scroll motifs and foliate decorations. The workmanship shows good artisanal quality and gives the piece a strong decorative presence. The console presents a finish in warm brown tones, with visible wood grain and a patina that enhances its appearance. Style: Louis XV / Rococo Era: 20th century, made in antique style Material: carved wood Color: brown / walnut Type: wall console Indicative dimensions: Height: about 60 cm Width: about 60 cm Depth: about 35–40 cm Dimensions to be verified with direct measurement before final publication. Conditions The console is in vintage condition with normal signs of time and use. Small scratches, abrasions, surface imperfections and some wear on decorative elements and edges are visible, as clearly documented in the photographs. These marks are consistent with the piece’s age and history and contribute to its lived-in character. Please examine all photographs carefully, including those of the details, before purchase. Usage Ideal as a decorative element for entryway, living room, drawing room, corridor, study or classic environment. It can also be used in an eclectic or contemporary interior as an accent piece. A piece particularly suitable for those seeking carved wood furniture with sinuous shapes and Rococo-inspired decorations.
