Contemporary Memory Ring with Baguette Diamonds by Bernhard Grassl

This memory ring, crafted from platinum and baguette-cut diamonds, comes from Bernhard Grassl’s studio in Munich. Grassl is dedicated to creating high-quality, custom-made pieces. After completing his apprenticeship as a goldsmith with Karl Rothmüller in Munich and studying at the Academy of Fine Arts in Hanau, he became a master goldsmith in 1988. He has operated his own business since 1998. The ring, which Grassl crafted in 2013 for a client in Munich, features a clear, minimalist design. It sets the 4.25 ct diamonds between two encircling bezels, making them appear to float. It’s a beautiful design concept that also requires great craftsmanship. At the same time, the ring is very comfortable to wear. We were able to acquire the ring directly from its first owner. Like most memory rings, it cannot be resized; it is a size 57.
