Contemporary Pillar - Boomuitsnede – Handgemaakte...

Handmade corten steel design column with decorative tree cutout A stylish and robust corten steel column with a boldly cut tree decoration. During the day, this object is a sculptural centerpiece for garden, terrace, entrance, or interior. In the evening the column comes to life beautifully when a small light is placed inside: the warm light then gently shines through the tree-shaped cutout. The top is completely closed and flat, allowing the column to be used as a plinth for a sculpture, vase, plant, or other decorative object. This makes it a versatile design object: both functional and decorative. The corten steel has a warm, natural rust-colored appearance. Through the oxidation process, each column gains its own character. Because the columns are handmade and corten steel rusts naturally, color, texture, and rust pattern may vary per unit. This makes each column unique.
