A vintage bull elk shoulder mount taxidermy trophy, from Corbin Park, the storied private game preserve in Sullivan County, New Hampshire, founded in 1889 by Austin Corbin and known for its wapiti elk herd imported from Minnesota in the 1890s. The mount presents the bull in a bugling pose with head raised, displaying a full multi-point antler rack with good tine length and natural coloring; the hide is full and well-preserved, mounted on a shaped wall plaque. 48”H x 46”D overall. Provenance: from the famed and published collection of Roger Donahue.
