Corneille (1922-2010) - Flevoland

Corneille – Flevoland (2004) Technique: Lithograph Dimensions: 60 x 40 cm Condition: In good condition, never framed The edition number may differ from the photo. This colorful lithograph titled “Flevoland” is a work by Corneille (1922–2010), one of the co-founders of the CoBrA movement (together with, among others, Karel Appel and Constant). His work is characterized by vivid colors, playful shapes, and recurring themes such as birds, women, and exotic landscapes. This lithograph, printed in 2004, is numbered from 200 copies and is in excellent condition. The piece has never been framed, which has helped the colors stay particularly fresh. Corneille’s art remains globally beloved for its expressive style and optimistic aura — Flevoland is a beautiful example of his late, mature period in which color and fantasy are central.
