All auctions / Toys & Collectables / Cox - Toy vehicle - Ski-doo Snowmobile - .049 gas-powered (1973) - sealed
Exceptional collectible: Cox Snowmobile, new and factory-sealed from the factory origin. We present one of the hardest-to-find pieces in the vintage model market: the Cox Snowmobile in New Old Stock (NOS) condition. Unlike most units that appear at auctions, this specimen has never been opened. It retains the original factory seal intact, guaranteeing that the contents have never been manipulated nor exposed to light or dust. Item Details: Manufacturer: Cox (USA). Condition: New, factory sealed (Factory Sealed). Engine: Cox .049 internal combustion engine (Glow Plug Engine). Contents: Includes the snowmobile, original fuel can (Cox Fuel), starting battery, and original instruction manuals. Condition/Investment Grade: Exterior: The cardboard box is in very good condition, with vivid colors and no sun fading. Integrity: It shows no oil stains or chemical residues, suggesting that the internal fuel can remains sealed and in perfect condition, something extremely rare for this model. Collectors' Note: This lot is an authentic time capsule. By remaining sealed, its investment value is significantly higher than that of an opened unit. It is sold as a historical display piece and museum artifact. Due to its sealed condition, the mechanical operation has not been tested nor has the chemical state of the internal liquids been checked to preserve its market value.
