Credenza - Austrian Art Deco sideboard from the 1930s in walnut burl veneer

Splendid Austrian sideboard from the 1930s, characterized by an elegant structure with soft yet geometric lines, typical of Austrian Art Déco / Wiener Moderne. The piece features a spectacular veneer in Walnut burl, particularly rich and decorative, with a naturally lively grain and a refined, almost mirror-like composition on the doors. The warm tone of the wood and the finish further enhance its depth and shading. The sideboard consists of two wide front doors with a central decorative lock and has inner shelves, offering good storage capacity. Very distinctive is the raised base with a shaped plinth and central opening, an element that contributes to the piece’s strong personality. A piece with great stage presence, ideal both in a classical setting and in a contemporary context where it can create a refined contrast between old and new. The furniture has been polished, shows normal signs of wear due to age and use. The lock is decorative.
