Credenza - Pinewood - early 1900s

Two-door white-lacquered wooden sideboard, Luigi Filippo style, with a drawer in the plinth – Italy – early 1900s Elegant two-door sideboard from the early 1900s, made of conifer wood (fir/pine) lacquered white with antique finish, in Luigi Filippo taste. Simple, well-proportioned lines: shaped top with a molded frame, a panel below the top, two panel doors with visible hinges and a lock with a full green sage satin ribbon tassel. The base rests on a shaped plinth with carved, curved toe-kicks. In the plinth there is a hidden drawer, convenient and only slightly visible. The interior is in natural wood color, walnut/honey, with an intermediate molded shelf and a base made of conifer boards. The contrast between the white exterior and the warmth of the interior wood makes it highly decorative, suitable for a shabby chic, Provençal, or modern classic setting. Ideal as a dining room sideboard, entryway piece, buffet, or storage in the living room. Shallow depth (42 cm), perfect for compact spaces.
