Crucifix (3) - Spelter - Early 20th century - Altar ornament - 45 cm

Complete neo-Gothic style altar set, including a large tabletop crucifix (height: 45 cm, substantial weight of 1323 g with the original weighted base) and a pair of matching candlesticks (height: 25 cm each). French-made, early 20th century, crafted in régule with its original silver patina. Damages and alterations: The assemblage is solid, stable, and presented in its current worn state, with normal signs of use and some areas where the silvering has worn away, reflecting its age. For full transparency: one of the two candlesticks has a small original casting hole (localized metal loss on one face of the shaft, with no impact on rigidity) as well as a slight mechanical play at the tightening point (a standard re-tightening to be expected via the original square nut located under the base). The other candlestick and the crucifix are perfectly secure. Restorations: No restorations have been performed. The pieces retain all of their original components, including the threaded rods and period iron nuts under the bases.
