La Balda Baldaxette I is a German camera produced by Balda in the post-war years, belonging to a series of compact and folding cameras widely used in Europe between the 1940s and 1950s. This model stands out for its elegant and classic design, with a metal body, synthetic leather coating, and the characteristic foldable bellows that allowed the camera to be made more compact during transport. The Baldaxette I generally used medium format film and offered fully manual operation, requiring the photographer to directly control shutter speeds, aperture, and focusing.
