Cyril Keller - Ein Moment Auszeit

My name is Cyril Keller. I was born on September 12, 1978 in Saarland. My enthusiasm for art began in the early 1990s with graffiti. Even back then I was fascinated by colors, shapes, and the possibility of giving my ideas a personal expression. This passion still forms the foundation of my work today. What shaped me most was my teacher and mentor, the artist Parscha Mirghawameddin. It is with him that I learned to paint. His sense for color, his eye for composition, and his artistic experience were of great importance to my development. As his pupil I could benefit from a knowledge and a passion that accompany me to this day. I am very grateful to Parscha for sharing his experiences with me and for supporting me on my artistic path. Learning from him was a special opportunity for me. On this basis I developed my own visual language and found my personal approach to painting. Since 2015 I have devoted myself with great enthusiasm to abstract art. I am especially fascinated by the squeegee technique: the interplay of color layers, the structures that arise, and the surprising shapes that give each painting its own character. Here, learned craft merges with intuition and the joy of experimentation. My paintings are meant to enliven spaces, awaken emotions, and give viewers lasting pleasure. Each work leaves room for one's own thoughts and discoveries. It is precisely this openness that makes abstract painting so special for me: a painting can mean something different for every person and reveal new facets over time. With every canvas I continue to develop my work—carried by my artistic roots, the valuable impulses of my teacher, and the desire to create something of my own. The canvas is unstretched and is carefully rolled in a shipping tube for dispatch. An authenticity certificate is included in the delivery.
