Cyril Kenneth Bird aka 'Fougasse' (British, 1887-1965) 'Careless Talk

a set of eight lithographic posters in colours, signed in the plate u.l. (8), 32 x 20.5cm; unframed, Condition Report, Condition Report, Printed signatures. A little light foxing starting to emerge in places with a few small faint dirty marks and smudges. 'Be careful what you say and how you say it' has pinholes to the upper and lower edges and a little light creasing to the upper edge. '...but for Heaven's sake don't say I tod you!' has repaired pinholes and small diagonal creases to the corner. There is some staining to the centre of the upper and lower edges. 'You never know who's listening' has a small repaired tear to the lower edge, centre left, and there is a small white spot of overpainting which appears to be further small repair in the lower left corner.
