GENERAL: Daimler - 250 V8 Saloon - 1968 Daimler MKII. As it stands, it is an ideal car to monetize, by transporting personalities, and for cinema events and weddings. For interest about the model, the Daimler 250 V8 (based on the body of the iconic Jaguar Mk II) stood out for its lightweight alloy V8 engine designed by Edward Turner, which was considerably lighter than Jaguar's inline six, giving it better weight distribution and very balanced and smooth dynamic handling. CARROCERÍA Y PINTURA: The bodywork was recently polished and now has a very intense shine. As it is many years old, the paint has age-related defects and some marks, but it can be used perfectly in its current state. MECÁNICA: Mechanically the car runs well both cold and hot, but it has not been used regularly for many years, so it would be advisable to have a thorough inspection and tune-up. Its automatic transmission shifts smoothly and the eight-cylinder engine runs very smoothly, being at the time the top-spec unit. It has just undergone underbody and lower-sill treatment addressing some rust they had, so practically there is no rust to worry about. INTERIOR: It remains very original with its original upholstery, which is in good used condition with some minor tears due to use and the passage of time. The interior woods will need a bit of restoration, as they are in decent condition but show wear from time and sun. DOCUMENTACIÓN: It has current ITV and can circulate without problems. RECOGIDA: The car is located in Madrid, Spain. If awarded, we have 20 days of storage.
