Daydream - Geesien Postema

Daydream by Geesien Postema Painting 53.0 x 27.5 :: This abstract floral painting features a vibrant explosion of color and movement evoking the lushness and vitality of a blooming garden. The composition is rich with layered dabs and strokes of paint primarily in shades of green white pink red and purple. The top half is lighter and airier suggesting blossoms bursting in sunlight while the bottom half deepens into cooler greens and blues grounding the piece and adding depth. The flowers are suggested rather than depicted literally using loose impressionistic strokes and thick textures. The effect is both spontaneous and harmonious giving the viewer a sense of walking through a garden in full bloom where form and color blend into an immersive experience of nature. Overall the painting conveys a sense of joy freedom and natural abundance - a beautiful balance between abstraction and essence in floral life. This painting is signed on the front.
