DE-91. Delaware. May 1, 1777. 10 Shillings. PCGS Banknote Superb Gem

DE-91. Delaware. May 1, 1777. 10 Shillings. PCGS Banknote Superb Gem Uncirculated 67 PPQ. No. 37460. Burdened with the penned signatures of J. Laws and J. Witbank, bidders are met here with a truly fine sight to behold in technical terms. Graded Superb Gem Uncirculated 67 PPQ by PCGS Banknote, this Colonial-era note from Delaware does offer more than simply a numerical grade of "67" and the margins and registrations typical of this grade assigned. Here one may look upon the format of this denomination which is much larger than the "change notes" from this emission which disproportionately account for the high-grade survivors from this emission often seen at the Superb Gem Uncirculated grade level. PCGS Banknote Pop 1/None Finer. Estimate: $2,000 - $3,000. Click here for certification details from PCGS Banknote.

Estimate:£897.23
