Decanter - Crystal - Captain's decanter 2.4 kg

Offering an exceptionally heavy and imposing vintage crystal ship’s decanter, traditionally designed with a broad, stable 21 cm flat base to prevent tipping aboard vessels during rough seas. Acquired within Belgium, this piece showcases the breathtaking weight, brilliance, and acoustic resonance characteristic of premium European lead crystal craftsmanship. Weighing a substantial 2.4 kilograms, the glass possesses a very high refractive index, creating brilliant fire and light dispersion through its deeply carved geometric patterns. The lower body features traditional hand-cut diamond grids (cross-hatching) that seamlessly transition into elegant, clean vertical splits running up the tapering neck. The piece is crowned with a beautifully multi-faceted, round crystal ball stopper that catches the light from every angle. A stellar addition to any high-end bar cart, maritime collection, or fine dining showcase.
