Decorative ornament - Italy

Handmade grapes in Italian alabaster from the Volterra area Each individual sphere is hand-carved and polished starting from blocks of natural alabaster. The semi-gloss finish, with the characteristic veins and warm honey- or amber-colored nuances, is a hallmark of this mineral. The berries are assembled and fixed to a real dried grapevine shoot; this detail makes the object unique.
