Decorative Pug in porcelain, Austrian manufacture Rostrand, early 20th century.

Descriptio Polychrome ceramic dog figurine. Dimensions: 35 x 45 x 15 cm. Zoomorphic sculpture of a bulldog in an upright and alert position, with its head held high and a highly expressive, frontal gaze. The modeling highlights the animal’s compact musculature, the characteristic folds of its face, and the decorative collar around its neck. The polychromy in ochre, black, tones accentuates the naturalism of the piece and the sculptural presence typical of Central European decorative pottery from the early 20th century.
