Beautiful French Art Deco ceiling lamp by Degué, made in soft pink pressed glass with a rich, sculptural relief ornament. The octagonally shaped glass shade is adorned with geometric lines, stylized floral motifs and decorative circular shapes. The combination of matte and glossy glass panels gives the design depth and a distinctive play of light. The characteristic geometric form and the warm pink tint are hallmarks of the elegant French Art Deco style. The glass shade is paired with a nickel-plated fixture featuring a decoratively shaped central connection. The whole forms a striking decorative light object from the interwar period. The lamp is entirely original, still with the bayonet fittings. If you would prefer European E27 fittings, please let me know after the auction and I will adapt it to your preference. The lamp will be carefully packaged and insured for shipping.
