Soft, multicolor toning and darker toned highlights. Celebrating the conquest of the island of Rügen on the German North Sea coast. At the time on Swedish hands, the Island was conquered by combined Dano-Norwegian and Brandenburg-Prussian forces. In Germany, this medal is often listed as Brandenburg-Prussian and struck under Prince Friedrich Wilhelm. Please note the NGC holder has antedated the medal by one year. Estimate: €4,000 - €5,000.
