Danish 1 Skilling Rigsmønt from 1856, struck under the reign of King Frederik VII. (left): Shows the crowned royal monogram of Frederik VII (F VII) surrounded by an oak wreath, bearing the year 1856. (right): States the nominal value of 1 SKILLING RIGSMØNT. Notably, the countermark with the letters "AD" is punched into the numeral 1. This type of countermark was often manually applied in the past by individuals, traders, or local authorities as a property mark. Because of this specific unofficial countermark ("AD"), 1 SKILLING becomes very rare and sought-after among collectors. Quality: XF, countermarked Material: Copper Weight: 3.83 g Diameter: 20.90 mm
