Designer rug - Rug - 374 cm - 289 cm

This extraordinary handwoven designer rug from Pakistan combines traditional oriental ornamentation with a modern, artfully dissolved look. Although the rug is new, the pattern gains a striking vintage design character through its deliberately irregular styling. Of particular note is the color combination of bright turquoise and sky blue with warm gold, ochre, brown, and cognac tones. Beneath the abstract-looking surface, classical floral motifs, borders, and medallion-like structures can be discerned. This contrast between traditional patterns and modern interpretation makes the rug a remarkable focal point.
