DINKY TOYS - FRANCE (1) 24N CITROËN 11BL (Traction Avant), metallic gray, black zamac wheels, flat trunk. AN EXTREMELY RARE AND LEGENDARY MODEL! The first version of the famous Dinky Traction, which would go on to become an absolute best-seller. This rare variant is characterized by a STRAIGHT front side member (between the bumper and the wheel axle), which was later quickly changed to a curved design (known as “ski-shaped”) to reinforce this area, as the bumper was fragile. Chassis with small lettering, V-shaped headlights, smooth rear bumper (without a reinforcing strip). Finding a gray 11BL with Zamac wheels in this condition is already a challenge, and in this version, it’s exceptional. Serious collectors can even count the number of models in superb condition, as so few examples are currently known to exist. A few subtle pinhead-sized imperfections (on the edges of the fenders and protruding parts) on this gray color, with some missing black paint on the wheels. Condition B. !!
