Produced in Liverpool, England between 1958 and 1962. This highly decorative diorama accessory is made of sturdy cardboard with a detailed printed tile pattern, designed to lay out a realistic pavement around a Dinky Toys street plan. The set contains various elements, including long straight pieces, shorter filler pieces, and semi-circular/quarter-round arc sections for creating corners and junctions. Condition of the item: • Contents: In very nice, fresh vintage condition. The cardboard shows minimal signs of aging and the printing remains bright in color. The set is complete. • Packaging: Includes the original, characteristic yellow-red cardboard box. The box shows normal aging and storage wear; one of the outer locking flaps is creased/detached (see detail photo), but the packaging is still fully authentic with a nice clear print. A fantastic addition for collectors who want to present their vintage Dinky Toys vehicles in an authentic 1950s/60s setting!
