Disney - Donald Duck nr 1 - 1 Album - First edition - 1935

Very special and rare piece of Disney history! Original Walt Disney’s Donald Duck from 1935, published by Whitman Publishing Company (USA), issue #978. This is regarded as the very first book fully dedicated to Donald Duck. It appeared only about a year after Donald Duck’s film debut in 1934. The book consists of a fully color-illustrated story, printed on thick, linen-like paper. Notably, it features Donald at a very early stage, including his long beak. A beautiful collector’s item for the serious Donald Duck, Disney, or vintage comic collector. The copy is over 90 years old and has of course signs of use and aging, such as wear, yellowing, and spots on the cover. The interior and colorful illustrations have, given the age, remained well preserved. Please view all photos carefully for the exact condition.
