DKT Nando - Farm Invasion - XL Framed 3D Object

● Original Framed Mixed Media Artwork with Integrated 3D Objects, Unique Edition. Original mixed media artwork featuring a digital collage printed on canvas and individually hand-finished, incorporating resin cow and pig miniatures as 3D elements. The physical figures extend beyond the printed image, transforming a classical rural landscape into a surreal extraterrestrial abduction scene. The artwork receives a final protective matte varnish and is presented in a restored vintage wooden frame with a gold finish. The reverse of the frame has been restored and adapted to ensure a secure and optimal fit for the canvas. Dimensions: 73 × 57 cm. Frame width: 7 cm. Depth: 5 cm. As an original vintage frame, it retains subtle signs of age and minor irregularities in some areas, barely perceptible and only noticeable upon close inspection, consistent with its character and age. The artwork is individually signed on the reverse and accompanied by a physical certificate of authenticity. ⸻ In “Farm Invasion”, rural life takes an unexpected turn when a fleet of UFOs pays an uninvited visit to a farm. One cow is already being transported into the sky, another waits beneath a beam of light, and the piglets make a desperate escape as the alien spacecraft illuminate the landscape. The scene turns an extraterrestrial invasion into a delirious livestock abduction operation. The classically styled landscape contrasts with the extravagance of the situation, while the resin miniatures attached to the canvas allow the cows and pigs to step beyond representation and enter the world of physical objects. This mixture of printed imagery and sculpture introduces a tangible dimension that enhances the playful character of the composition. With a spirit close to pop surrealism, “Farm Invasion” combines rural nostalgia, extraterrestrial imagery and absurd humour to transform a pastoral scene into a story of cosmic chaos. Here, the question is not whether we are alone in the universe, but what happens when aliens decide to take the livestock. ⸻ ● About the Artist Nando López (Barcelona) is the founder of Dikhotomy, an artistic project dedicated to exploring how images change meaning when they are relocated into new cultural contexts.
