The Domaine Julien Cecillon represents the excellence of Rhône Valley wines, combining traditional craftsmanship, respect for the land, and a constant search for elegance and authenticity. The vineyard is certified organic by ECOCERT. 1) Crozes-Hermitage Les Marguerites 2024 Les Marguerites shows a deep purple color with violet reflections. The nose is powerful and expressive, with very ripe black fruits, blackcurrant and black cherry, enhanced by a touch of spice that brings elegance and finesse. On the palate, the wine is dense, rich, and long, with silky tannins refined through careful aging. Made exclusively from Syrah, this wine comes from old vines (up to 80 years old) grown on granite soils at the heart of the Crozes-Hermitage appellation, right next to the Hermitage hill. Vinification: 50% destemmed, native yeast fermentation in stainless steel tanks, followed by 14 months of aging in oak barrels (10% new oak). Food pairing: perfect with a beef rib or traditional roasted dishes. 2) Saint-Joseph Babylone 2024 Babylone shows a deep, intense red color. The nose is generous and expressive, with aromas of black fruits and cracked pepper, gaining depth and complexity with air. On the palate, the wine is elegant and supple, with fine, already-integrated tannins and a fresh mineral edge from its granite soils. The finish is long and refined, true to the noblesse of the Saint-Joseph appellation. Made exclusively from Syrah, this wine comes from old-vine parcels on the historic granite hillsides around Saint-Jean-de-Muzols, including century-old vines from the Côte des Rivoirs. Vinification: grapes are 70% destemmed and 30% whole-cluster, fermented with native yeasts, then aged 17 months in barrels (10% new oak). Food pairing: perfect with a seared beef cut or a simple roast chicken. 3) Marsanne Cornilhac 2025 (2 bottles) Marsanne Cornilhac shows a pale gold color. The nose is expressive and floral, with aromas of ripe pear, white peach, and acacia blossom, layered with subtle honeyed and smoky notes. On the palate, the wine is round and silky, offering a generous texture balanced by a fresh mineral edge, finishing on delicate notes of almond and fennel. Made exclusively from Marsanne, this wine reflects the typicity of the grape variety in the northern Rhône, sourced from vineyard parcels around Saint-Joseph, Saint-Péray, and Ardèche. Vinification: fermentation using a combination of stainless steel and oak, with full malolactic fermentation and aging on lees for 9 months before bottling, giving the wine its creamy texture and aromatic depth. Food pairing: perfect with refined appetizers, poultry in cream sauce, grilled fish, or soft cheeses. 4) Syrah Graviers 2025 (2 bottles) Les Graviers shows a bright, vivid red color. The nose is expressive and generous, with crushed red and black fruits, a touch of cracked pepper, violet, and a subtle smoky note — the true signature of Syrah. On the palate, the wine is supple and well-textured, carried by lively freshness and fine, elegant tannins. The finish is precise and energetic, reflecting the vivacity of its terroir. Made exclusively from Syrah, this wine comes from gravelly and granitic parcels in the Drôme and Ardèche, near Tournon, offering fruity, generous wines that are immediately approachable. Enjoy it young, for simple and convivial pleasure. Food pairing: perfect with charcuterie, grilled meats, or everyday casual dining.
