Dominique Kleiner – Art Chessboard “Rolex Mechanism” – No. 3/30 – 40 x 40 cm – Hand-painted resin pieces I am offering here an original creation signed by Dominique Kleiner, a French artist, designed for art lovers, design enthusiasts, and the world of prestigious watchmaking. This artistic chessboard is part of an exclusive and refined series, inspired by timeless elegance and the mechanics of haute horlogerie. It is the number 1 of a limited edition of only 30 copies, a highly sought-after asset for collectors. This work presents a 40 x 40 cm format and is distinguished by the richness of its visual composition. The board depicts a setting inspired by watch mechanisms, in a sophisticated harmony of deep greens, bright whites, and metallic nuances. The resin pieces, entirely hand-painted, offer a very high level of finish, with meticulous work on volumes, reliefs, and patinas. The overall piece exudes an elegant, contemporary, and decorative presence, while preserving a true artistic identity. More than just a chessboard, this creation is a decorative art piece in its own right, ideal for enhancing a refined interior, an office, a library, or an exhibition space. Its luxurious visual universe, refined presentation, and its limited nature make it a rare work, intended for both chess enthusiasts and lovers of unique and high-end objects.
