The books feature attractive color covers with Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck and black and white illustrations inside. The original display case retains the inscription "Walt Disney" on the front and a large illustration of Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and Pluto on the back. The books show wear on edges, corners, and spines, minor losses and deterioration of the paper, and some loose or detached pages/signatures. Interior paper is naturally browned with age.
