Drakengong

A decorative Japanese dragon gong on a freestanding metal stand with an ornate crown. The round copper gong features refined engraving with a detailed Japanese dragon and three circular family crests (mon), reminiscent of the well-known Tokugawa family crest (hollyhock motif). The gong hangs from a suspension cord on a cast iron stand with a sturdy, decorative round base. A particularly atmospheric Asian art and collectible object. Condition: Good, authentic condition with natural age patina and light signs of wear appropriate to its age. Light oxidation on the copper and a nicely weathered surface.
