The Toy chair was designed by Philippe Starck for Driade in 1999 with a polypropylene monobloc. A deliberately abstract chair in its composition. Cut from a single block, Toy speaks a language of broad and clean surfaces that sets it apart from other molded polypropylene chairs. Art object – Mixed media The artist Manuel Fantaisiste, trained in photography, uses a pictorial language between abstraction, graffiti and figuration: a drawing that emphasizes the energy of gesture; an expressive use of contour; simplified, almost symbolic shapes; a composition that seems to build up through an accumulation of signs. Delivered in good condition. This is a restored chair, painted and varnished (3 coats of Top Coat); it can be used outdoors. The object is signed. It will be carefully packed and shipped with tracking and tracking.
