Drinking glass (11) - Crystal

An exquisite and substantial set of no fewer than 11 hand-cut crystal wine glasses (Römer). The glasses boast a stunning olive green / moss green hue that immediately adds atmosphere and elegance to any table setting or display cabinet. Each glass features a highly refined, deeply cut geometric pattern with star motifs (starburst) and vertical fans on the bowl. The bowl sits on an elegant, clear, hexagonally faceted stem that flows into a sleek, flat foot. This type of craftsmanship and model (Rhine wine / Römer) complements the high-quality crystal production from traditional European glass centers such as Bohemia or the ateliers of Val Saint-Lambert. The glasses are unmarked, which is characteristic of the period when labels were often used only on paper. A unique opportunity to acquire a large, matching set for the collector or enthusiast of fine antique glassware.
