Duck decoy - Wood

A characterful wooden duck with a natural wooden head, reddish-brown beak, and hand-painted flowers in red, yellow and green. The visible cut marks and the colorful painting give this specimen an artisanal, country-style appearance. The head is rotatable. The paint has faded somewhat over time and begins to peel in some places, as can be seen in the photos. This contributes to the well-worn character of the piece. A charming decorative object for enthusiasts of traditional folk art and antique wooden collectibles.
