Dunhill - Rollagas - Lighter - Silver Finish, Gold plated

A vintage Dunhill Rollagas gas lighter in a brushed silver tone finish, set off by a gold plated reeded roller and the circular "d" logo on the lower front. It is one of Dunhill's most recognisable designs, with the clean, architectural lines that have made the Rollagas a reference piece among collectors. The base carries the Dunhill mark, "SWISS MADE", the concentric ring refill valve and the flame height adjuster. The gold-tone insert and roller mechanism are original. Working condition: the lighter has been tested and produces a strong, steady flame, as shown in the photos. The roller action and lid both operate correctly. Cosmetic condition: very good for its age. The brushed surfaces show light marks and minor scratches consistent with careful use, with no dents or structural damage. Supplied in its original red Dunhill presentation box (London · Paris · New York). The interior satin and velvet show age-related wear and some discolouration. Estimated period: 1970s–1980s.
